Our product range includes advanced technology brake pads, brake discs, lined shoes and brake fluids, as well as racing and high performance products and accessories. ​​​​ Our brake pads are offered to the North American aftermarket.

Ferodo® brake pads for European passenger vehicles offered to North American service providers.

2012

Ferodo introduces a new improved box featuring greater structural integrity, top opening access and Anti-counterfeit technology.

2010

You’re in control – Ferodo develops a new brand promise.

2005

Ferodo racing introduces Siloxane technology.

1998

Ferodo is acquired by Federal-Mogul and Ferodo Racing is created in Mondovi, Italy.

1980

Ferodo adds discs, brake fluid and hydraulics to its leading brake pad offerings.

1969

Ferodo opens the world’s largest brake test facility.

1963

Donald Campbell sets a land speed record of 403.1 mph (649 km/h) using Ferodo brakes.

1956

Ferodo introduces the first disc brake pad on a mass produced vehicle – Triumph TR3.

1926

J.G. Parry-Thomas breaks the world land speed record of 169 mph (272 km/h) at Pendine Sands using Ferodo brakes.

1922

Ferodo becomes the first company to supply original equipment (OE) linings for a mass-produced car, with linings fitted to the Austin 7.

1902

The first brake linings are introduced.

1897

Ferodo starts making brakes for horse-drawn carts.
